Hal McKusick

Hal McKusick (1924–2012) was an American jazz musician known for his work as an alto saxophonist, clarinetist, and flutist. Active in the mid-20th century, he collaborated with notable figures like Boyd Raeburn and Claude Thornhill, and recorded influential albums, including "Triple Exposure" and "Cross Section - Saxes." McKusick also taught music in his later years and is remembered for his contributions to the jazz genre and education.
