Lou McGarityLou McGarity (1917-1971) was an American jazz trombonist notable for his work with the Benny Goodman big band in the late 1930s and early 1940s. After military service, he became a studio musician in New York City and performed in clubs with notable artists such as Eddie Condon. In the late 1960s, he was also a member of the World's Greatest Jazz Band, contributing to the jazz and swing genres throughout his career until his passing. (Source: Wikipedia)
