Lewis Gary & The PlayboysGary Lewis & the Playboys was an American pop and rock band formed in the 1960s, led by Gary Lewis, the son of comedian Jerry Lewis. They gained fame with their 1965 hit "This Diamond Ring," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and was part of a series of successful singles that defined their career. The band was notable for their boy-next-door image and achieved significant commercial success during the mid-1960s before disbanding in 1970, although they later continued to tour as a nostalgia act.
