B.B. King

B.B. King, born Riley B. King in 1925, was an influential American blues guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer, active from the 1940s until his death in 2015. Renowned for his unique style that emphasized fluid string bending and vibrato, he became known as "The King of the Blues." King gained significant acclaim, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a Grammy Award for his 1970 hit "The Thrill Is Gone." He toured extensively throughout his career, performing over 200 concerts annually well into his 70s, and left a lasting legacy as one of the most important figures in blues music.
