Johnnie & Jack

Johnnie & Jack were an influential American country music duo active from the late 1930s until the early 1960s, consisting of Johnnie Wright and Jack Anglin. They became prominent members of the Grand Ole Opry in the 1940s and are best known for hit singles like "(Oh Baby Mine) I Get So Lonely," which reached number one, and "Goodnite, Sweetheart, Goodnite," which peaked at number four on the charts. Following Anglin's tragic death in 1963, Wright continued his career as a successful solo artist.
