Roger MillerRoger Miller (1936–1992) was an influential American country musician and singer-songwriter known for his novelty songs and major hits like "King of the Road," "Dang Me," and "England Swings." He began his career as a songwriter in the late 1950s, achieving widespread fame in the mid-1960s and later writing music for the Disney film Robin Hood. Miller also composed the Broadway musical Big River, which won several Tony Awards. After his death from lung cancer in 1992, he was posthumously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
