The Isley Brothers

The Isley Brothers are an influential American soul group from Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in the 1950s by brothers O'Kelly, Rudolph, and Ronald Isley. They achieved significant success with hits like "Shout" and "It's Your Thing," spanning over seven decades and becoming one of the few acts to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 across six decades. Known for their versatility in genres including R&B, funk, and rock, the band saw varying lineups and continued to perform primarily as a duo featuring Ronald and Ernie Isley, remaining active as of 2025. They have received numerous accolades, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
