Fireballs Featuring Jimmy Gilmer

The Fireballs were an American rock and roll band formed in Raton, New Mexico, in 1957, gaining popularity in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Initially an instrumental group, they achieved notable success with hits like "Sugar Shack," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard chart in 1963, and "Bottle of Wine," peaking at No. 9 in 1967. The band continued to evolve, with shifts in lineup and musical style, and remained active until their final performance in 2022, experiencing a brief reunion in 1989 before disbanding in 1969.
