Gibson Steve & The Red Caps

The Gibson Les Paul Custom is a premium variant of the Gibson Les Paul guitar, introduced in 1953 following the original Les Paul's launch a year earlier. Distinguished by its black finish, luxurious features like an ebony fretboard, and intricate inlays, it quickly became known as the "Black Beauty." Originally featuring P-90 pickups, it evolved to include the PAF humbuckers in the late 1950s. The model has undergone various changes throughout its history, including different body constructions and pickup configurations, maintaining its status as a favored instrument among notable musicians. Production continues today, with various customizations available.
