Gerry & The PacemakersGerry and the Pacemakers were an English beat group that emerged from Liverpool in the 1960s, contributing significantly to the Merseybeat sound alongside contemporaries like the Beatles, with whom they shared management under Brian Epstein. Known for their chart-topping hits, including "How Do You Do It?", "I Like It," and "You'll Never Walk Alone", they were the first act to reach number one in the UK Singles Chart with their first three singles, establishing their place in music history. The group disbanded in the late 1960s but reformed intermittently, with Gerry Marsden continuing to lead until his death in 2021. Subsequently, former members continued to perform as Gerry's Pacemakers. (Source: Wikipedia)
