Sunny Gale

Sunny Gale, born Selma Segal on February 20, 1927, was an American pop singer known for her popularity in the 1950s. She achieved notable success with her biggest hit, "Wheel of Fortune," which reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1952. Throughout her career, she recorded several singles for labels such as Derby and RCA Victor, with charting hits including "I Laughed at Love" and "Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight." Despite her achievements, Gale's legacy remained overshadowed by contemporaries like Patti Page and Rosemary Clooney until retrospective albums emerged in the late 1990s, highlighting her contributions to pop music.
