Stan Freeman

Stan Freeman (1920–2001) was an influential American composer, pianist, lyricist, and musical arranger known for his extensive work in both the music industry and Broadway. After studying classical piano and serving in World War II, he gained prominence as a studio musician, collaborating with notable artists such as Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, and performed in Broadway productions, composing scores and arrangements for various shows. Freeman received acclaim for his contributions to television, earning an Emmy Award, and remained active in music until his death in Los Angeles at age 80.
