Willie DixonWillie Dixon (1915–1992) was an influential American blues musician, songwriter, and record producer, recognized for shaping the post-World War II Chicago blues sound. With a prolific output of over 500 songs, his notable works include "Hoochie Coochie Man," "Little Red Rooster," and "I Just Want to Make Love to You," performed by artists such as Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. Active primarily from the late 1930s to the early 1970s, Dixon also played a key role in bridging blues and rock music.
