The Crystals

The Crystals are an American vocal group formed in New York City, recognized as one of the key acts of the early 1960s girl group era. Active primarily from 1960 to 1967, and with a reunion beginning in 1971, they are noted for hit songs produced by Phil Spector, such as "He's a Rebel," "Da Doo Ron Ron," and "Then He Kissed Me," which have been noted in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The group's lineup featured multiple lead singers, and they played a significant role in shaping the sound and themes of pop music during their era.
