Cowboy CopasCowboy Copas, born Lloyd Estel Copas in 1913, was an influential American country music singer active primarily from the 1940s until his death in 1963. He gained fame for hits such as "Filipino Baby" and "Alabam," becoming a notable member of the Grand Ole Opry. His career involved performances on various radio programs and a resurgence in the early 1960s with several chart-topping singles.
