Ray Bryant

Ray Bryant (1931–2011) was an American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger known for his distinctive blend of blues, gospel, and jazz influences. Active from the 1940s through the 2000s, he gained prominence in the jazz scene while accompanying notable artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, and Carmen McRae. He produced hit singles such as "Little Susie" and "Madison Time," and recorded extensively across various labels, contributing to the jazz genre with his unique style and compositions. Bryant continued to perform internationally until his death in 2011.
