Buddy Bregman

Buddy Bregman (1930–2017) was an American arranger and conductor renowned for his contributions to jazz and pop music. Born in Chicago, he became a prominent figure in the 1950s music scene, known for his work with notable artists including Ella Fitzgerald and Bing Crosby, as well as for his role as the head of A&R at Verve Records. Bregman's arrangements and productions greatly influenced several albums that achieved platinum status. Later in his career, he delved into television production and direction, also creating a musical for the Royal Shakespeare Company. He passed away from Alzheimer's disease in 2017.
