George Braith

George Braith, born George Braithwaite on June 26, 1939, is an influential American soul-jazz saxophonist from New York. Noted for his innovative technique of playing multiple horns simultaneously, he invented the Braithophone, a unique combination of alto and soprano saxophones. His discography includes significant albums from the 1960s, and he is celebrated in the artistic mosaic at the 72nd Street station of the New York City Subway.
