Campbell Jo Ann

Jo Ann Campbell, born on July 20, 1938, in Jacksonville, Florida, is an American rockabilly singer recognized as a pioneer of the genre. After starting her career as a dancer and television performer in the 1950s, she transitioned to singing and gained commercial success with hits like "I'm the Girl from Wolverton Mountain." Campbell's music career included appearances on popular TV shows and in films during the late 1950s and early 1960s, but she stepped away from the industry after marrying producer Troy Seals in 1964.
