Bland Bobby "Blue"

Bobby "Blue" Bland (1930–2013) was an influential American blues and soul singer known for his powerful blend of gospel, blues, and R&B. Emerging from the Memphis Beale Street scene, he gained fame in the 1950s and 1960s with hit singles like "I Pity the Fool" and "Turn On Your Love Light." Over his career, he received numerous accolades, including inductions into the Blues Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, alongside a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Bland's unique storytelling ability and rich vocal style earned him the reputation as one of the greats in blues music history.
