Manfred Mann

Manfred Mann was an English rock band formed in London in 1962, fronted by keyboardist Manfred Mann. Active until 1969, the band was significant in the 1960s music scene, achieving multiple hits, including "Do Wah Diddy Diddy," which topped US charts during the British Invasion. They explored various musical styles, including blues and pop, through notable vocalists like Paul Jones and Mike d'Abo, and they also contributed to the emerging psychedelic movement. After disbanding, Mann led the successful 1970s group Manfred Mann's Earth Band, making their impact last beyond the original band's era.
