Vic DanaVic Dana, born Samuel Mendola on August 26, 1942, in Buffalo, New York, is an American singer, dancer, and actor known for his contributions to the traditional pop genre. He gained fame in the 1960s with his top ten hit "Red Roses for a Blue Lady" and recorded several other popular songs during this era, including "Little Altar Boy" and "I Will." Initially discovered by Sammy Davis Jr., Dana transitioned from performing dance to a successful singing career, with multiple albums to his credit.
