Frankie Avalon

Frankie Avalon, born Francis Thomas Avallone on September 18, 1940, is an American singer, actor, and former teen idol known for his popularity in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He achieved significant fame with 31 charting singles on the U.S. Billboard, including the number one hits "Venus" and "Why." Avalon starred in numerous films, particularly the Beach Party series, and returned to music with a notable role in the 1978 film Grease, performing "Beauty School Dropout." His career has spanned decades, with appearances in films and television well into the 21st century, solidifying his legacy in American pop culture.
